Start 4 to 6 inches from the skin. 10 to 20 seconds on a spot, three to five times a week. If the skin gets hot, move back or stop. Add time slowly.
Do not look straight into the LEDs.
Keep the light dry. Do not cover it while it is on.

760 nm, near infrared, 50%.
830 nm, near infrared, 50%.
The light draws 14 watts.
300 mW/cm² at 0 inches
100 mW/cm² at 7 inches
50 mW/cm² at 14 inches
25 mW/cm² at 24 inches
10 mW/cm² at 44 inches
Closer is stronger. Farther is a wider, lighter dose. The light draws 14 watts.
How close do I hold it? Start at 4 to 6 inches.
How long? Start at 10 to 20 seconds a spot. Build from there. Heat is the stop sign.
Can I use it on my eyes? Do not look straight into the LEDs.
Which plug do I need? US and Canada, Europe, UK, or Australia. The light itself takes worldwide voltage.
How is this different from a panel? This is the small one. A panel covers more of you at once. This one is for a spot.
Near infrared at 760 and 830 nm is studied as a signal to cytochrome oxidase, the enzyme at the last step of how a cell makes energy. These are lab findings on the wavelength, not a claim about a disease.
Key Research Findings:
760 nm and the enzymeKao, Lin, Cheng, and Lee (2023). Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology B, 241, 112681. Light at 620, 680, and 760 nm. 760 nm increased nerve-cell growth, and that required cytochrome oxidase. 680 nm did nothing in that test.
830 nm and the enzyme's stateKaru, Pyatibrat, Kolyakov, and Afanasyeva (2005). Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology B, 81(2), 98–106. Cells were irradiated at 830 nm. Cytochrome oxidase became more reduced.
830 nm and ATPWong-Riley and colleagues (2005), same paper as on the 670 nm light. 830 nm was the other wavelength, with 670, that most restored cytochrome oxidase activity and ATP.
From a bioenergetic view, a metabolism that keeps up makes everyday energy easier to come by. This light is one way people support that. You barely see it. You feel it farther in. The papers are about the enzyme at 760 and 830 nm, the two wavelengths in this light. Nothing is left behind when it is off.

Not a medical device. Do not use it to treat a condition.
Do not look straight into the light. Do not use it on broken skin, or if the skin is already hot or burned.
Stop if a spot gets uncomfortably warm.
Keep away from water and from children. Unplug it when you are done.

Comfort for the spots that sit deeper, from near-infrared you barely see but feel farther in.
For the spots red light on the surface doesn't reach. Half 760 nm, half 830 nm, at 300 mW/cm² up close, so a spot takes seconds, and no full-body panel is needed. The power at each distance is on the page. Silent, worldwide voltage, hands-free in any standard E26/E27 lamp, and a 6½-foot fabric cord included.
Family-owned shop, real answers when you have a question. Two-year warranty. 60-day no hassle returns.
The near-infrared rays of the red light have helped me on a daily basis.
I have utilized it to deal with discomfort after a brain hemorrhage and after muscle fatigue.
I feel that the effects are beyond my expectations.

We already had the LGS11 model which I use often, but my teen found the light too bright and offputting. So we got the LGS8 for her and she likes it a lot. She uses it on her joints (juvenile RA) and belly (GB issues).

As described, arrived quickly. In one week, I have already seen a drastic improvement in my shoulder that has been nagging me lately from an old weight lifting injury. The portability is awesome and I will bring this with me wherever I travel that has an outlet!
