Start low: 1 capsule a day with a full glass of water.
Raise slowly: over a week or two, if your gut is happy, work up to 2 capsules twice a day, or as your practitioner prefers.
Timing: take it 1 hour before or 2 hours after food, supplements and medications.

Gut-wall integrity in active adults

Effects of zeolite supplementation on parameters of intestinal barrier integrity, inflammation, redoxbiology and performance in aerobically trained subjects. J Int Soc Sports Nutr 12:40. PMID 26500463. In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, 52 endurance-trained adults took 1.85 g of zeolite a day for 12 weeks. Stool zonulin, a marker of gut-wall integrity, went down with zeolite. (Different clinoptilolite product.)
