Description
Clean, moisturized-feeling skin from a creamy, long-lasting bar with a subtle cocoa scent.
- Creamy and rich. More cocoa butter and less coconut oil than Blend 1, for good foam and rich suds.
- Soft, clean feel. One customer: “Clean with out drying out my skin.”
- A natural cocoa scent from the cocoa butter itself, with no added fragrance.
- Lasts. “These are lasting me ages,” one customer says.
Why it fits low-toxin, bioenergetic living. The bar is built on cocoa butter, coconut oil, mango butter and sal butter, stable fats rather than a seed-oil base, with a short ingredient list and no synthetic fragrance.
Customers say: “Nice pleasant yet subtle cocoa scent when using but doesn’t leave any residual aroma.” And: “Subtle, clean scent and suds up quite nicely even with hard water. Leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean like soap should.”
Ingredients: Saponified oils of cocoa butter (organic and fair trade), coconut oil (organic), mango butter (organic), sal (shorea) butter (wild harvested); distilled water.
Made by hand, in-house, by our family. For external use as a cosmetic cleanser. 60-day no hassle returns.
Weight: about 3.8 oz per bar. Each bar is handmade, so weights vary a little.
Bar soap is made from oils and butters. Here is research on cleansers, skin lipids, and the fats in cocoa butter.

Bioenergetic & low-toxin perspective
Ray Peat favored stable saturated fats over unsaturated oils, including for the skin.
"More recently, a variety of studies have demonstrated that ultraviolet light induces peroxidation in unsaturated fats, but not saturated fats, and that this occurs in the skin as well as in vitro." — Ray Peat, "Coconut Oil" (https://raypeat.com/articles/articles/coconut-oil.shtml)
A related study, not one Peat cited: Feingold & Elias 2014 (above), on lipids and the skin barrier.
Note: These studies are about cleansers and fats in general, not this exact bar. For external cosmetic use. This information is for educational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
