Grass-fed New Zealand beef heart, freeze-dried into capsules. Heart is a muscle meat, naturally higher in CoQ10 than steak or liver, with collagen and elastin still in the organ. Made for people who eat nose-to-tail and do not want to cook whole heart.
100% grass-fed and grass-finished New Zealand cattle
Freeze-dried and non-defatted
Naturally contains CoQ10, collagen, elastin, and B vitamins
Grass-fed beef heart from New Zealand cattle, freeze-dried and filled into capsules.
Heart is muscle, not a gland. Food-composition studies find more CoQ10 in beef heart than in beef liver or ordinary steak, along with collagen, elastin, peptides, enzymes, and B vitamins as they occur in the organ.
This is whole bovine heart, non-defatted, with nothing added. Cattle are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, raised without hormones or pesticides. Capsules are filled in the USA. No fillers, additives, or flow agents.
If you already eat organs, this is the straightforward way to get heart in the pantry. If you do not cook organ meats, the capsules are the same food without the skillet.
Take 4 capsules daily with a meal, or as directed by your healthcare provider. Start with 1–2 capsules daily and gradually increase over several days to allow your body to adjust.
Storage Instructions
Store in a cool, dark, dry place. Keep tightly closed. Protect from heat, light, and moisture.

Start with 1–2 capsules daily with a meal and gradually increase to 4 capsules per day over several days. This allows your body to adjust to the concentrated nutrients.
Why is beef heart considered special? Beef heart is a single-ingredient organ that naturally contains CoQ10, collagen, elastin, peptides, and B vitamins.
Can I take this with other organ products?
Yes. Many people combine Beef Heart with Thyroid, Thymus, MEN, or Collagen. Space them out if taking multiple products at once.
When is the best time to take it?
Take with a meal, preferably in the morning or early afternoon.
How should I store it?
Store in a cool, dark, dry place. Keep tightly closed.
Is this from New Zealand?
Yes. Our Beef Heart is sourced from 100% grass-fed and grass-finished New Zealand cattle raised without hormones or pesticides.
Beef heart is a whole-food organ. Food-composition studies consistently find more coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) in beef heart than in beef liver or ordinary muscle.
Food composition
Ercan, P. and El, S.N. (2011). Changes in content of coenzyme Q10 in beef muscle, beef liver and beef heart with cooking and in vitro digestion. Journal of Food Composition and Analysis, 24(8), 1136–1140. Measured CoQ10 at about 110 μg/g in beef heart, versus about 33 μg/g in beef liver and 23 μg/g in beef loin muscle.
Mattila, P. and Kumpulainen, J. (2001). Coenzymes Q9 and Q10: contents in foods and dietary intake. Journal of Food Composition and Analysis, 14(4), 409–417. Survey of CoQ10 in common foods. Heart and other organ meats sit at the high end of the range; typical diets supply only a few milligrams per day from mixed foods.
Kamei, M. et al. (1986). The distribution and content of ubiquinone in foods. International Journal for Vitamin and Nutrition Research, 56, 57–63. Early food-composition work mapping ubiquinone (CoQ10) across meats and organs, with heart among the richer tissues.
Processing The same Ercan and El (2011) paper found that high-heat cooking (frying) reduced CoQ10 in beef heart, with about 69% retained. Freeze-drying is a low-heat method used here so the organ is not cooked before it is encapsulated.

New Zealand grass-fed and grass-finished beef heart
I looked up selenium on the Life Giving Store site, and found 3 items. The Beef Heart was one of them, so since I had it, I began taking this. It is a good item!
