I'm a dude that's new to natural soap products. I bought this for my face and armpits, to be completely honest. I've recently made the switch from mass-produced, aluminum-based deodorant to Pit Liquor (alcohol-based, natural) and, after detoxing my armpits and committing to a new deodorant, I've added this as an extra daily maintenance step for cleaning my armpit pores and facial pores. I'm 38 so I don't struggle with acne but find the soap to work well on my face and underarms. It's hard and durable, creates decent charcoal lather but isn't "disappearing" quickly like some other soaps. Highly recommend
