Description

What this is for:

  1. Milligram accuracy for small amounts. It reads to 0.001 g (1 mg) and holds up to 20 g — the range our powders live in.
  2. Small, even steps. Thyroid, cascara, B vitamins, glycine — when you’re raising slowly, a scale beats eyeballing a scoop.
  3. The scale we use. It’s what we keep in our own kitchen for our own powders.
  4. Everything you need in the box: carrying case, tweezers, weighing tray, calibration weight, and batteries.
  5. Easy to read — a backlit display, six weighing units, and auto-off to save batteries.
  6. Protected and portable — the flip-down cover keeps the pan clean and safe.

Our tip for very small amounts: put your small bowl on first and don’t zero it. Note the reading, then add powder until it climbs by the amount you want. Example: bowl reads 2.375 g, you want 5 mg, so add until it reads 2.380 g. Very small loads read more steadily when there’s already a little weight on the pan.

For steady readings: set it on a flat, solid surface away from fans and drafts. Give it 30–60 seconds after switching on. You don’t need to calibrate before first use; only if it stops reading true, using the included weight.

As customers put it: “The tip on not taring the bowl when measuring very small amounts was very helpful.” And: “I really appreciate being able to increase in very small increments.”

60-day no hassle returns.

10-year manufacturer’s warranty.

  1. Bring the scale to room temperature first. If it's been somewhere cold or hot, give it about an hour.
  2. Set it on a flat, solid surface, away from fans, drafts, and other electronics.
  3. Press ON and wait for 0.000 g. Give it 30–60 seconds to settle.
  4. Check that the unit shows g. Press MODE to change it.
  5. Everyday amounts: put the tray or your bowl on, press TARE, and add powder.
  6. Very small amounts: put your bowl on and don't tare. Note the reading, then add powder until it rises by the amount you want.
  7. Use the tweezers or a small spoon. Don't lean on the scale or breathe over the pan.
  8. Never put more than 20 g on it. Overloading permanently damages it.
  9. Calibrate only if readings seem off. At zero, hold ON for about 3 seconds until the display flashes, then shows the weight it wants. Place the included calibration weight in the center and wait for the "g" to stop flashing.
  10. Display messages: a battery symbol, "lo", or "88888" means change the batteries. "Err1" means recalibrate. "Err2" means it's overloaded, so take weight off.

nice lil’ scale
Has been helpful in weighing uniform amounts of the supplements. There is quite a bit a variation when just scooping, especially since I don’t really know what a certain amount looks like. Can see myself using the scoop alone over time, but I really like using the scale presently.

Good quality thyroid
It is a good product, but very expensive, considering that it is only the Thyroid of a cow. But alas there are not many sellers of it

Daily use
I use the scale daily to measure my dose. I really appreciate being able to increase in very small increments. I have no complaints other than the instructions that came with it were not very useful. That's why I gave 4 stars, otherwise the scale is 5-star worthy.
