Preparation instructions for making Pau D'arco tea:
Bring to a boil for 5 minutes then reduce to simmer about 15 minutes. Always covered. Never use cast iron or aluminum. Glass cookware is best. Strain with linen, for example we use a muslin cloth. Fruit juice, honey, lemon, etc, can be added for taste. We prefer a bit of fresh lemon juice with some honey. Although we wait for the tea to cool down a bit to add the honey.
